- Nokia N80 – The good news is that this multimedia camera phone not only has a 3 mp camera, but a secondary VGA camera, as well as an integrated mp3 music player, a fairly sharp display screen, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities. The bad news is that it’s a very expensive phone (because there is no service carrier backing its sale) and it works slowly when you try to do more than one thing at a time. For those of you who can’t afford it, don’t worry””there are much better phones out there. And for those of you who can afford it, don’t be in a rush””there are much better phones out there.
- Nokia N93 – The resolution on the Nokia N93 is actually 3.2 mp, and it comes with video recording abilities (along with the by-now-requisite Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technologies), but the clunky weight of this phone makes it a bit cumbersome. The swivel design is out-of-sight, but the number of dropped calls is unforgivable. Bottom line: this phone has great features but fundamental flaws. Skip it.

To be honest, camera phones with 3 megapixel resolution are becoming rather hard to find. A new model from any of the major manufacturers of cell phone devices will probably have a much higher megapixel count than three.
Of course the upside to that is 3 megapixel camera phone products are going to be fairly cheap, comparatively. So if you can find one, you’ll probably get a great deal on it.
