As a single-lens reflex (SLR) camera, the V3800N slr camera is great for beginners looking to take a serious interest in photography.

These days, top brand-name companies want you to think that cameras need to be fully automatic, digital machines capable of uploading content directly to your latest Facebook, Twitter, or other social networking site.

The Vivitar V3800N is here to remind you that picture-taking can still be an art form.

If you are one of the people getting sick of this whirligig world of action, action, action, and want to feel more in control of your creative expression, then perhaps the Vivitar V3800N 35mm slr is the camera for you.

Below, we’ll take a closer look at the ins and outs of this camera and see if it might just be a good fit for you.

Vivitar V3800N 35mm SLR Review

The Vivitar V3800N camera is an amazingly affordable SLR camera, perfect for those photographers just beginning to take the art seriously.

Retailing at just under $185 from most retailers, the Vivitar V3800N 35mm slr also has a price tag that just can’t be beat.

Snappers with a bit more experience might find this camera a bit too cumbersome for their needs, but beginners and amateurs won’t be able to put the thing down.

It’s as simple to use as an SLR camera possibly can be, and weighing less than a pound, it’s also highly portable.

As it easy as it is to use, however, there have been reports that the instruction manual is a bit under-written, causing users to have to branch out a bit to the photography community to learn exactly what is what.

But, beyond that hiccup, the this SLR camera is, by all accounts, an incredibly underrated camera, capable of capturing some of the most stunning images imaginable on a camera under $200.

The attractive and easy to handle casing also doesn’t hurt.

Beginners, take note: this is one of the best deals on a great-working SLR camera you will find. Take a chance and give this one a try.

You won’t be sorry.

The Vivitar 3715 is a High Quality Digital Camera for a Reasonable Price

Looking for a compact, high-quality digital camera for a good price? The Vivitar 3715 may be what you’re looking for.

With 8 MB of internal memory, 2048 x 1536 resolution, and Secure Digital (SD) memory cards, this little camera is ideal for print, email, and web applications as well.

You can use the Vivitar 3715 digital camera to capture short video clips. You can also use it as a PC web cam, providing live video to your PC (through a USB connection).

The Vivitar 3715 comes with 8 MB of internal memory, and can be expanded using optional Secure Digital (SD) memory cards. Resolution modes for the camera include 2048 x 1536, which is ideal for various applications.

Vivitar Vivicam 3715 Digital Camera Features

The Vivitar 3715 digital camera is a 3.3 mega pixel digital camera with 2x digital zoom, integrated flash, and expandable memory. You can review images with ease using the camera’s 1.5-inch TFT (thin-film translator) LCD screen.

Other features include automatic exposure compensation control, a ten-second timer, and a tripod-mounting socket.

The Vivitar 3715 digital camera has the following features and functions:

3.3 Mega Pixels

2048 x 1536 Resolution

2x Digital Zoom

Vivitar 3715 Point and Shoot Camera Review

Point and shoot camera reviews indicate the Vivitar 3715 is great for all around use. You can use it to take detailed 8″ x 10″ portraits that turn out with excellent clarity. Depending on how you set it up, the Vivitar 3715 is a great camera for close up or long range photos.

Most people like the camera’s small size and zoom feature. The zoom feature is accomplished internally (without a lens sticking out of the camera). The case that comes with the camera attaches easily to a belt, making it easy to carry around all day.

The camera’s 8 MB of internal memory is adequate for taking more than 50 pictures at a time. You can increase that number substantially by adding a memory card. The video feature also works well. One big drawback, however, is the camera’s lack of sound.

Normally, you can take between 75 and 100 pictures and load them into your computer on one set of batteries. However, the batteries last much longer when you use the camera outdoors (where using a flash is unnecessary).

The Vivitar Vivicam 8400 is a top, waterproof digital camera. Learn why you must own it with reviews and pictures from a Vivitar Vivicam 8400 underwater camera.

Getting More for Your Money With the Vivitar ViviCam 8400

Thinking about going snorkeling this season? If so, be sure to bring the Vivitar Vivicam 8400 digital camera with you to snap some compelling underwater pictures.

The Vivitar 8400 digital camera is an 8.1 megapixel, compact digital camera with a 2.4” view screen. It has ample memory (64 MB), which allows you to store extra photographs in case you run out of memory card space.

Since it’s waterproof up to 10 meters, ViviCam 8400 by Vivitar is ideal for taking pictures by the pool, snorkeling, and scuba diving.

Other features included on the Vivitar Vivicam 8400 are: 8x digital zoom, built-in microphone, built-in self-timer, auto-flash, wrist strap, and a camera pouch.

Compared with similar compact digital cameras on the market, the Vivitar vivicam 8400 is mid-priced (anywhere between $100 and $200).

Vivitar 8400 Review

Review and pictures from a vivitar vivicam 8400 underwater camera indicate that it’s well suited for family vacations and snapshot photography.

Based on its key features, we recommend that you use it mostly for framed pictures in your home. The largest recommended print size is 12 x 16 or larger.

The camera has some great features, including a movie mode with resolutions of 640 x 480. One drawback of the camera is that it has a 2.4 inch view screen, which is much smaller than some similarly priced digital cameras.

Underwater Digital Camera Review

Unlike its competitors, the Vivitar 8400 has a waterproof case, making it suitable for diving, surfing, rafting. The case also keeps the camera safe from sand and rain. It features internal memory, and is powered by standard AA batteries.

The Vivitar 8400 digital camera is an excellent choice for amateur photographers. The camera comes with a manual, and it’s very easy to use.

However, since the battery power tends to disappear quickly, it’s always a good idea to keep an extra set of batteries on hand. Viewing footage quickly drains battery lifespan, so an investment in rechargeable batteries is always a good idea.

Features and Functions of the Vivitar Vivicam 8400

Sd Card Support

8 X Digital Zoom

The camera can be used in up to ten meters underwater

Waterproof Digital Camera Review

This waterproof digital camera uses an automatic flash that can be triggered by a timer. Just turn the timer on, hug your loved one, smile, and BAM! Picture perfect image.

Overall, the Vivitar ViviCam 8018 is not a camera recommended for any type of user. It is not worth the $40 that you would spend on it--learn why.

The Vivitar ViviCam 8018 is a small, light camera. It has 8.1 megapixel resolution and a 1.8 inch display. It is fitted with 8X digital zoom. The Vivitar ViviCam 8018 weighs just 100grams, however when 3 AAA batteries are inserted the weight increases slightly. It comes packaged with an installation CD and a quick start guide, as well as a USB cable and a camera strap.

The price of the Vivitar ViviCam 8018 is $39.99, however the camera is not desirable even at that low cost. Although compact enough to fit in a pocket or a small handbag, the Vivitar ViviCam 8018 is not an elegant camera. The buttons on the camera feel and look cheap; as though they might fall off, and the power button is not stable in its position. They are also difficult to press unless pushed down hard.

The LCD screen on the back of the camera has poor lighting and the image quality is not good compared to other cameras on the market. It does not display newly taken pictures, and in order to view them the ‘mode’ button must be pressed three times. Most pictures taken with the Vivitar ViviCam 8018 are blurred both on the LCD screen as well as when uploaded, and using the 8X zoom simply blurs the images even further.

The installation CD that comes with the Vivitar ViviCam 8018 loads software that can be used with the camera. The Vivitar Experience Image Manager allows users to upload images onto a computer, from the computer onto Internet sites, and can send pictures through email. Although there is no instruction pamphlet with the Vivitar ViviCam 8018, the Vivitar website has these manuals in PDF form.

In order to upload pictures onto a computer, users must plug the USB cable into the camera as well as the computer. Once the camera is on the pictures will automatically be visible and easy to drag onto the desktop.

Overall, the Vivitar ViviCam 8018 is not a camera recommended for any type of user. It is not worth the $40 that is spent on it, and as most cameras available on the market today are priced reasonably and are of known brands, there are several other options obtainable. The low quality of the camera itself as well as the blurriness of the images taken makes the Vivitar ViviCam 8018 a low quality camera in general.
